Sim card

Hello, I have an iphone 7 but that phone does not work anymore because i messed up the charging point and it hasn’t worked for over a year. Do you think I could still put the old phones (iphone 7) Sim card into my now (iphone XR) phone without causing damage? Thank you .

sure

they use the same size

though if your new phone is sim locked to another carrier it will not work
