AIRTAG is useless an I don't Understand what is fo

Airtag - I don't understand what it's for?

I have bought 4 airtag. The idea was to track my dog and my electric scooter.

I take the dog for a walk, my wife and my daughter. But I can't share with them the airtag so they can't find if the dog run away.

Furthermore, by emitting a sound since they also have iPhones, the dog gets scared and agitated.

So I can't track my animal (probably the privacy of my dog have to be manteined).

What doesn't make sense that I can share my position but not one my object.

By emitting a sound if it is near an iphone in case my electric scooter is stolen and the thief has an iphone, he would be notified of the presence of the airtag. So it would detach it and stop me from tracking it.

So at the end the airtag is useless for my needs.
