My AMD Radeon 6800 XT reference GPU is performing horribly after updating to 12.3. I actually had two of these GPUs in my 2019 Mac Pro and am forced to put my 5700 MPX module back in to get decent performance for video editing and simply watching 4k content. It's as if hardware acceleration has been disabled. It's a real bummer and I hope Apple fixes it soon. Any ideas or workarounds until then?
Yours is the ONLY report of this to date.
There is no known-work-around (yet).
Apple is NOT working on this as an issue unless/until YOU contact them and make sure they file a comprehensive Bug Report:
