Hey allilinker,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. From what we see, those emojis may be associated with an app that was installed? Have you recently installed an Emoji/Emoji keyboard app? If so, remove it and see if that resolves the issue: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
