What do you recommend for disposition of the original Mini, as I’m told it’s now out of warranty?
Mac mini 2018 or later
800 gigs of memory or 800 gigs of disk storage space? If 800 gigs of disk storage space, you can replace the hard drive with a larger hard drive.
If you want to dispose the original Mini, take it to an Apple Store for recycling or see if anything here helps.

I got a new Mac mini for Christmas. we didn’t try to connect it until recently. In the process we learned that instead of some 800!gigs of memory, I need 2 Terabytes. Question is what to do with the original mini as I’m told it’s now
