On 18 March I lost my phone I submit claim then after that someone found my phone and submitted to police station now my phone is not working

what would happen if your phone gets returned, after you file a claim and get it replaced through the apple care policy. So the claim was approved and you have it replaced already, but latter on the, lets say 2 months latter, the original phone gets returned to you. Is the original phone usless now because its locked now even though its returned to its rightful owner who bought it. Or is there a way to unlock it or remove the lock so that it can be used again?
