In Focus settings, 'Share Across Devices' is LOCKED to OFF.

In Focus settings, "Share Across Devices" is LOCKED to OFF. I cannot turn it on. I'm fine with that, I want it to be off. Nevertheless it is sharing Focus settings anyway. Sharing the Focus settings across my devices is a major inconvenience for me. I am now forced to use the silent switch on my iPhone. This means that emergency calls, and Favorites cannot get through to me. Any ideas on how I can STOP synchronizing Focus settings?

The "share across devices" will not affect you receiving notifications.

You need to turn on Do Not Disturb or else add a new Focus and turn it on or schedule it.

I don't care at all about receiving notifications.

It is the Sharing my Focus settings across ALL my devices that is a major inconvenience for me. In Focus settings, "Share Across Devices" is LOCKED to OFF. I cannot turn it on. I'm fine with that, I want it to be off. Nevertheless it is sharing Focus settings anyway.

Focus sharing between your devices is off so I don't think it is relevant.

Do your other apple devices (phones, ipads, Macs) have the same problem turning off focus sharing?

If you have a Focus set on this phone are you saying all notifications bypass it?

If so, Have you tried Settings, Notifications, then (say) Messages and turn off Time Sensitive?

Ditto for other apps.

Thanks for trying to help, I have done all the things you suggested. You would think that when "Share Across Devices" is LOCKED to OFF. (and my iPhone will NOT let me turn it on) That there would be no "Sharing". I'm just trying to get my iOS devices to act how they did with iOS 14 and earlier. Each device could be set independently (NO Sharing). My primary focus is trying to get "Do Not Disturb" NOT to share across devices.
