Sim Card
I gave my old phone to my daughter. It does not have a sim card. Is is possible to use FaceTime? It is grayed out on my settings.

It would have to be activated with the Apple ID, as long as the iPhone has been activated you should be able to turn it on after logging into the Apple ID, just like you would on an iPad. You would have to make sure that you have wi-fi turned on and connected.
