AssistiveTouch

This is one subject that aggravates me about Apple products. “On purpose” I turn the assistive touch feature OFF! And yet, Presumptively and Mystriously some software engineer, OZZ himself or some A.I. algorithm, much like the insidious herpes virus… JUST pops up!

why can’t you leave it turned OFF.

stop guessing what the consumer wants after THEY made the decision

I'm sorry, I've never seen AssistiveTouch turn on for itself. What version of iPhone do you have? Do you have a device with a home button? The only time I've ever seen a prompt for AssistiveTouch is when an iPhone with a home button fails and you can be prompted to turn on AssistiveTouch. The only other thing would be if you have AssistiveTouch selected as the Accessibility Shortcut and have tapped the home button 3 times quickly. In the case of a device without a home button, you would have to tap the power (side) button 3 time quickly.
