The battery indicator does not show when iphone is off and charging
I have an iphone 13. The screen is blank during chargingwhen i switch off the iPhone. I am not able to see the percentage of the battery

That is correct. If you turn off the phone, it is off, nothing will work. Question, why do you turn off the phone when you charge it? If you are charging overnight, if you keep it on and have it configured, you can do a nightly backup in iCloud. Also, for Optimized Charging to work, the device needs to be turned on. There is no real need to turn the device off when you charge it.
