Why is my in-app purchase pending for over three weeks?
My son made an in-app purchase (ads-free) for an iPhone game. Usually such purchases are immediate and committed as soon as the request is approved on a parent's device. However this purchase is in pending state for about three weeks on the top of the list in Settings -> Name -> Media & Purchases -> View Account -> Purchase History. I cannot recall getting the request for approval on my device either.
The adds are still in the game, which makes me think that the purchase did not pass through. The game does not give me an option to try again, and "restore purchases" does not give an outcome either.
What can I do to move the purchase forward or retry?
