Anyone know how to make iPhone not change settings when I open an app or get a notification???

I have an iPhone 8Plus

i have accessibility >hearing aids

on.

My issue is every time I open any app,

or if I get any notifications,

iPhone switches volume and preset

for example

right now,

the volume is set at;

60 in left ear

86 in right ear

and presets is at normal

if I go into ANY app

it changes to;

21 in left ear

41 in right ear

and preset is at stream boost

i can’t hear at these levels,

and the only thing I hear is wind!!!

every time I go into an app I have to change settings back!!

any advice???

The changes to Stream Boost is controlled by the Thrive app and not Apple. Have you tried this video:

It lets you control your Thrive presets and saves them.

It could possibly be the Settings ,Sound & Haptics, Headphone Safety ,Reduce Loud Sounds. Check to see if that setting is turned on. Also it may be the presets in the app associated with you brand of hearing aid. What brand do you wear?

Have you checked with your audiologist? The only reference I can find shows that Streamboost is setup in presets by the audiologist. Is that correct?

First photo, if you triple click home

(circle) button,

brings up that menu

Second photo is my eq options.

when opening any app iPhone thinks I’m streaming music/videos/etc,

and changes to stream boost.

rather it didn’t do this….

Sorry for the delay in reply,

I have starkey livio 1200’s

the issue is it keeps going to

streamboost preset eq,

instead of staying at normal preset eq.

if I try to avert loud sounds

(per your suggestion)

I wouldn’t be able to hear much at all.

Yes, I spoke with the audiologist,

they couldn’t figure it out, either.

the preset eq levels I’m working with are from apple,

and all settings I’m asking about are through accessibility options.
