What does the red dot at the top of my watch face mean

Thanks guy, I just took a shower with it on! I thought it had something to do with that. It was only for a few seconds and the dry function seemed to work pretty well. Then I read that you can go swimming with it on! The watch has a function that closes it, if you use it. So I was pretty relieved.
