Upgrade account security

New iPhone 13 can not install AirTag, get this message to upgrade account security. I do have two factors answered. My AirPods are connected. Also find my network is greyed out. Find my phone works ok. Need help. Verizon transfer my Samsung S21 over.

Impossible to get airtags installed due to iPhone security and lack of instructions? Very frustrating experience being encountered trying to get my new airtags to work with my iPhone. Can anyone help? Every time I put the airtag near the phone to set it up - I get a pop-up saying. "Upgrade your account security Airtag uses end to end encryption to keep your location information private" But with no instructions or guidance to say what that means or how to even do that. My iPhone 8 has iOS 14.5.1 installed. I have rebooted the phone several times. I have taken the battery out of the airtag and put it back in again. And this is the same for any of the FOUR airtags I have bought (in four-pack). Some general info on Apple's website says to make sure FIND MY NETWORK is turned on - but as you can see from my screen shot - I do not have this option? Can anyone help with what steps I need to take. The guidance on the apple support website is shockingly limited.

Unable To SetUp AirTag I am unable to setup AirTags with either my iPhone 14 (iOS 16.6.1) or my iPad Pro 11" (iOS 1.6.6.1). I am logged into my Apple account. I am actively updating apps, downloading music, texting, etc. I have 2FA enabled. I have two brand new AirTags. My first ones. This issue occurs with both AirTags and exactly the same error on both devices. Bring the new AirTag close to my iPhone or ipad Unlock the device The AirTag setup window pops up automatically I select "Connect" I accept the first available name, Backpack I Agree to the conditions it says, "connecting..." for a few seconds, then the error: "Could Not Complete AirTag Setup. To setup this airtag, sign in with your Apple ID in Settings" A previous poster had the same issue, and the Apple response was unhelpful. It did not address the issue he described. Is there an additional location within Settings where I need to log into my Apple ID? Is this a known issue? How may it be resolved?
