Mail Drop email vanished

Tried to email someone a video from my iPad. Apple Mail pop-up window said file was too large and gave me two options: use Mail Drop or try sending attachments anyway. I selected Mail Drop and it went out. My friend never got the email. My Sent folder is not showing anything has been sent. My icloud is not showing the email anywhere nor the Mail Drop. Where did it disappear to?

There could be a number of reasons that this email didn't go through. See Mail Drop limits for this list.

If sending your video falls under these limits, you can try to send it with a different email address. You can also try with other various ways to share as seen in Share photos and videos on iPad.
