"Hey Siri" not working properly

Is anyone having the below same issue?

I'm having problems with "hey Siri" working intermittently when calling numbers. She will not call a number that has *82 before the number. An example of Hey Siri not working is ... "Hey Siri call Alison". Alison has *82 prefix before number. She says "calling Alison". The Siri indicator comes on my phone for a few seconds and nothing happens and then the screen goes back to where it was. It behaves this way for ALL numbers prefixed by *82. Other regular numbers (without *82), even calling Apple or Apple care, the same issue occurs intermittently. Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. Also tried using the side button for "hey Siri" and the same issues are duplicated. There's definitely a problem with Hey Siri. I restored my phone as new and before putting all information back onto phone, I only set up "hey Siri" and put two contact numbers in the phone with *82 prefix. The same issue occurred. After that I brought all apps and data back to iPhone. After many attempts at trial runs, I sent file logs and videos to Apple for engineers to looks at. I've had the best senior advisors looking at the issue and still won't work properly. I have an iPhone 13 and using the latest update, 15.4. It was also happening under 15.3. I've had the phone for close to two months and I'd say the problem has been occurring the last 2 to 3 weeks, at least. My sister has iPhone 12 Pro, running IOS 15.3.1 and has no issues at all with "hey Siri" whether dialing a number with a *82 prefix or calling any other number. So frustrating. Please Apple solve the problem soon!

I too am having the same problem making Siri voice command calls to phone numbers that are listed in contacts as (*82) numbers. I am using an iPhone 12Plus with IOS 15.4 currently installed. On two separate visits last week to the local Apple Store in Murray Utah the Genius Techs were not able to provide any answers. The troubles making these Siri calls occur when using a any blue tooth device (motorcycle helmet headset, Air Pods or by pressing the phones Siri button. Calls can be made to the existing numbers using Siri only if you remove the (*82).. I had been able to make these types of calls before I had installed the (15.4) update. I was told that this "problem" will most likely be in a future Apple update. But for now I was advised that I should be patient and wait for Apple to fix the problem.
