I had to reset the printing system and now I'm unable to install any driver (printer or scanner). The drivers seem to be installing when I click on their dmg file but they never appear in Printers & Scanners.
Any ideas?

If you are unable to install printers and/or drivers, you need to first verify the printers are Monterey compatible.
I found a solution. I copied the contents of the Printer folder that I had backed up on Time Machine.
Until I reset the printing system, the printer was working fine.
