Zoom meeting's volume is very high with headphones connected to Macbook Pro

I tried to search for a solution for this problem but didn't find anything helpful. So, the problem is that the lowest volume in Zoom meeting is very high when using headphones with my 2019 Macbook Pro. The headphones I use are Bose QC earbuds. Zoom seems not to have any separate volume control, and the volume option ranges from "high to very high". Is there any way to fix this problem?

Hey danasking,

It sounds like you have a concern with volume when using Zoom.

Ensure that the correct output is selected in the Sound Output tab. You can check this by clicking the Apple menu > System Preferences > Sound > Output or you can follow these steps:  Change the sound output settings on Mac - Apple Support. You can also adjust these settings to see if it improves within the Zoom app.

You may also want to reach out to Zoom here: Video Conferencing, Cloud Phone, Webinars, Chat, Virtual Events | Zoom.

Cheers.
