Since the 15.4 update my podcasts have been stuck on continuous play, turning the toggle off in settings does nothing, they just keep autoplaying the next and don't stop between anymore. The external control setting also somehow keeps reverting to the default next/previous instead of my desired forward/back. bug? just me? iphone SE(2020)
Same here, I can’t fall asleep without listening to something either. I hated waking up to discover that my entire list has been marked listened and deleted from my device. Even worse is when the skip forward or back automatically switches to next/previous episode. Instead of going back 15 minutes, all of a sudden you have moved back three whole episodes.
I have reported it feedback assistant more than once and it hasn’t been addressed. I just got sick of it and moved all of my podcasts to overcast.
This is still an issue in 16.5. Anyone knows if it’ll ever get fixed. Super annoying.

Sadly the issue has reappeared after a few days so earlier update has not resolved the issue ☹️

This is still happening. I turn off Continuous Play and on it's own after a day or two or three it goes back on. Really frustrating. This should be a simple fix by their coders.
