PDF Thumbnail has inverted colors

I'm on Monterey 12.2 on an M1 Max Macbook pro.

Recently exported some PDFs and for some reason the thumbnails and previews have the colors inverted. The two files are nearly identical. When I open one of them in preview for example, the thumbnail reverts to it's correct colors while the other one doesn't. I opened these in Illustrator, Preview and Acrobat with the files themselves being fine, so I'm wondering if it's something with the OS. The actual vector assets in the files are showing correctly, so it seems it's just the image embedded in the PDF that's not being read correctly.

Is there a workaround so I can avoid this bug in the future?

Hello, Sheilaquiles.

We're not able to see the color differences you are seeing from the sample image you provided, but we're happy to look into this. We advise trying the following steps:Does this occur with every single .pdf you open? Check with a few more to make sure.Try updating to the latest macOS version: Update macOS on Mac.Quit and reopen the app: Quit apps on Mac.Restart your Mac: Shut down or restart your Mac.See if the same behavior occurs on a second user account on your Mac: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
