I input ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ in search of Finder and nothing

I input ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/ in search of Finder and nothing comes up. If I manually step thru I can get to the back folder

Started search @ iMac then at Mac HD then at Library level and no results

What is the problem?

Running Monterey 12.3 on MacBook pro M1

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.3

Old issue, new issue, what changed?

That is a complete path, < ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup>

I doubt a "Finder search" would return the location.

however Finder>Go>Go to Folder, copy and paste:

 ~/Library/Application Support/

Do you see the folder in the list?

MobileSync/

Do you use iDevice /iPhone / have you backed up using the Finder?

spotlight search has been deliberately blunted to keep you from accessing anything in your Library folder or anything is any system-related folders. Spotlights search is really limited in what folders it will search in.

Software developers often want to look in System Folders and special places, so they use additional tools that can search more widely..

I backed up iPhone SE 2 v15.4 to MacBook Pro M1Monterey v12.3. I can manually step thru to the back folder.

I'm trying to figure out if this is an issue or if I'm doing something wrong.

While researching backup iPhone to usb. Several articles had copy/paste or type path in search Finder to get to backup folder. I did both and multiple variations none worked. (Don't get sidetrack by backup to usb, not the point of question).

Your "Go" suggestion worked but then what is the use of a search bar. Why can't I just save path to Note copy/paste to Finder search then I'm at the Backup folder when/if I need.

This may just be a limitation of Finder search. Again, just trying to figure out the problem; me, my laptop or no problem just not possible.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
