Hi I’m having trouble getting into my iMac it’s asking for a recovery key?

Can’t sign in and it keeps saying I can change my password and I have done it like 3 times different passwords and still can’t sign in. It asks for key PIN number?

Recovery Key? Help! My Mac Mini was asking me to enter a recovery key after turning my computer on after a update. I’ve never seen this message before from Apple and couldn’t quit out of the window so I restarted my Mac and now I can’t log into my computer even though I am entering the same password I’ve always entered for my iCloud account! HELP!

Can’t open Mac Book Pro, password not working and I don’t have the recovery key When I turn on my Mac Book Pro it is saying my password is incorrect, I don’t have the option of signing in with an Apple ID. I then go into recovery assistant but it asks for the recovery key which I also don’t have.

as well, you should be able to use an iPhone or iPad as a trusted device ....
