Computer rings even with Do Not Distrub activated

When I'm on a zoom call on my 2020 MacBook Pro, I often get interrupted by calls and texts and WhatsApp sounds on the computer. I have Do Not Disturb activated on the computer, and all the notification sounds turned off (only banners and badges are activated). How are these calls/sounds getting through, and what can I do to stop them from sounding at times when I don't want to be interrupted?

You may need to Set up a Focus on Mac - Apple Support, or check your settings.

Also, here are my notification settings. I would actually like to receive visual notifications, but not audible ones, and to be able to control when I get them (ie. turn them off during a zoom call). What should I set them to?
