Microphone not working

My microphone has stopped working. It has been like this for a couple of weeks now. When I am on a call, the other person cannot hear me unless I have AirPods in. I went to record a video of my friend on Snapchat, and there was no sound to it, like a fan was there. I went on apple support to try and see if someone else had the same problem and followed the same things you had suggested to try. I can hear myself on Camera app. But not on Voice Memos. I even yelled just to hear a little noise. What should I do?
