My iphone was left in an uber, how should I try to get it back

My iphone was left in our uber. We called him right away, we answered, but her was not helpful and even after we offered to pay him double the fair to come back he said he maybe would but then hung up and my friend who was tracking my phone saw him move further away. We tried calling uber and the driver countless times but no one would answer.

Please reach us at my email, we will be up anticipating a response.

Thanks.
