I have macbook pro and I'm updating the mac book and the update is stuck in the half what should I do?

If you are truly stuck reboot and see where it leaves you—

You can always force quit a shutdown by holding the power button/TouchID for ~6-10 sec.

Force Shut down your Mac.

Log out, sleep, wake, restart or shut down your Mac
