This is my second "magic" keyboard for this iPad and like the first it is playing tricks on me. Very often as I am typing it stops responding. I first notice it with the space bar not working. I am then forced to use the screen keyboard which is painfully slow for me as I am a touch typist. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Since this has happened with two keyboards, check with wireless interference in the areas you are using your iPad: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference
If it happens everywhere, then restart your iPad before using the keyboard again: Restart your iPad

Thank you for these suggestions. This has happened everywhere and I am in the process of rebooting after deleting all Bluetooth items.
Now it seems to be working at the moment but that has been the issue. The Magic Keyboard starts out working but them stops at some point while typing away. No telling when that will happen. So until I have been a couple of days without the issue I can’t say this was the solution. I certainly hope so and when it is evident I will make sure that button is clicked.
