CarPlay

Hello

i have an issue that arises from time to time with CarPlay. If I’m using CarPlay but choose to just do Bluetooth instead of CarPlay for music it like breaks my CarPlay and I have to remove not only my car from CarPlay but also Bluetooth. So basically reset the whole setup. It’s pretty frustrating.

Is there a fix for this or am I just stuck never using Bluetooth only for music to avoid having to go through that frustration?

Note especially item 2 under "Set up CarPlay" here.

Use CarPlay with your iPhone - Apple Support

Apparently you chose to use Bluetooth (and not USB) when you set up your CarPlay. If your car allows it and you chose USB, you would avoid this issue. Bluetooth only communicates to one device at a time.
