How much space is required to update to Xcode 13.3?

I have 31GB free on my mac and it is still saying not enough space. How much space is required?

"There is not enough disk space available to install the product" when trying to update XCode Hi, I have Xcode installed on my Mac and now try to run the update from the App Store. Every time I click on Update it tells me "There is not enough disk space available to install the product.". I have 28 GB free space on my disk and the download is for approx. 8 GB. How do I create more space on my computer to update the IOS software? I tried to update my software on my Macbook Air for the Big Sur update. it says i need 4.94 GB of space to update. How do I make that space available? what can I get rid of? or can I purchase more space?
