Hello,

when you leave Li-Ion batteries for a long time, you should charge it up to about 50% and then store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. This is a good tip for iPhones and iPads. But because AirPods technically cannot turn off (Find My), they will - no matter how much you charge them - eventually die.

Probably not the best thing to do, but that once or twice doesn’t render your AirPods unusable. Simply charge them and use them like normal.
