Not enough iCloud storage

I started to get Not enough iCloud storage on my photo app today :(. So I decided to pay for additional 2TB of storage but my photo app is still showing the same error. Did anyone run into similar issue?

Did you already force restart your iPhone?

Does your iPhone recognise the additional iCloud Storage space?
