Just went into my Files folder to send documents stored on my iPhone and all documents are gone. The folders remain. I am currently completing upgrade to 15.4 and noticed this. There are no documents in recent deleted and no documents in iCloud folder.
I did not delete any of these documents.
Where did they go and How do I get them back?

Unfortunately that is what i started with. all documents were stored "On my iPhone" not iCloud and when I went looking for them they had all disappeared after recent upgrades.
Try this -> Tap Files app -> then tap iCloud Drive and/or On my iPhone.
