Logic Pro X Quitting on startup - haven't been able to use it yet

I downloaded logic pro x and i couldn't open it as it said there wasn't enough space for basic content. so i cleared up some space and it started downloading on a bright green window that had two links for if you are new or not, it just brings you to a logic overview - note that i have at least 17 GB free on a 120 GB MacBook Pro. Somewhere in the download process it 'quit unexpectedly'. Now every time i open it, it opens back to the green window for a split second then says logic pro x quit unexpectedly. I can't even open the app and I haven't yet. I don't know if it would have anything to do with my audio units, I wouldn't think so because they all work fine for GarageBand, ableton, and other dAWs. Does anyone know why its doing this or a solution?
