Optonline email account on Mac

Since upgrading to Monterey, my optonline email account is gone, and I can’t add it back.

What seems to happen when trying to add your email account on the Mac? Do you get any particular errors?


There's some information here that may be potentially helpful: If Mail on your Mac can’t connect to your email account


As the page helps to note, "If you entered the correct password for your email account in the password dialog in the Mail app on your Mac, but Mail indicates it can’t connect to your email account, your email account provider may be rejecting the password. See the Apple Support article If Mail on your Mac keeps asking for your password."


It may also help to try reaching out to your Email Service Provider if you're unable to add it at all still. You can also try double-checking the login info by using your email provider's webmail site.
