can’t find others when two apple devices use air job in a room so that we can’t transport our photos

Airdrop "Failed to Save" From Macbook Pro to Iphone After a recent update (sigh) I almost always get an error message when trying to Airdrop a screenshot from my Macbook Pro 2019 to my iPhone XR. I used to be able to do this without any trouble at all as long as my phone showed up in the Airdrop list. Now, on my phone I get an error message that says something along the lines of: Failed to save, do you want to save this as a file in icloud instead? No. No I don't want to save as a file in icloud instead. I would like my image to save in my camera roll as it has done without a problem for years until a recent update. Does anybody know how to fix this problem and why it started?

Uploading photos I am trying to Airdrop photos on my iPhone 7 to my own iMac like I used to. My Airdrop Contact is shown but when I click on it to send a selected photo I received a flashing message that goes on indefinitely: "waiting". When investigating the cause I found a message saying that iPhone 7 is not supported. I recently updated my OS to 12.5 Monterey. Is there now an incompatibility?
