Hi everyone,
I'm using FCP 10.6.1. In my FCP browser, "Sort By" is greyed out when I'm in List View, and clips are always sorted by "Name". But I would prefer "Content Created" . Is there a way to change this?

In the list view the sorting order is determined by the column header you have selected, in your screen shot the "Name" column is selected. Click on the header you want to use to determine the sort, click again on the same header to reverse the ascending/descending order.

Try clicking the column header for the column you wish to sort by.
