Auto lock not working while Messenger Chats is displayed

I have an iPhone 13 Pro - 15.4 and my iPhone doesn't lock when I have Messanger open (all my contacts-Chats). I have the Auto-Lock for 30 sec and still not working as expected. I contacted Facebook without a response. This is critical for privacy concerns.

Facebook Messenger app - Logged in multiple iOS devices causing weird interference crashes (PLEASE HELP) Hello. I recently purchased an iPad Pro 12.9' and after I installed the Facebook Messenger app (which I also have on my iPhone, obviously), I started to experience very weird behaviors in the app, on both devices. I have updated both devices to iPad OS 14 and iOS 14 respectively. Tried to re-install the apps also. Can't seem to find anything by Googling on the matter. What is the issue? The issue is that when you are in the app, and opens up a conversation, you get very randomly thrown back to the "Chats" home menu (the list of all your recent Messenger conversations). This means you can enter into a conversation, start typing a message to someone, and randomly be kicked back into "main menu" and the message you started drafting gets lost. There seems to be no real logic pattern in when you get thrown back, sometimes it can be after only 5 seconds, sometimes 15, sometimes more. Bottom line, the app is unusable as you never know when your draft will be lost and you will be kicked back. To try and describe it a bit better, it is like the app is "refreshing" when the issue occurs, which throws you back to the list of recent conversations and you loose whatever draft you were typing. Another result of this "refresh" or "throw back" is if you are in a conversation and have opened lets say an Image in a chat, when the refresh happens, the picture will instantly go "Media no longer available". When does it occur? The issue occurs when I open the app on the iPad and remains a couple of hours after that, even if I properly exit the app on the iPad. It is clearly related to me opening messenger app on my iPad. As an example, yesterday I opened the app on my iPad and the issue started. I was heading out and closed the app properly on my iPad before, but during a couple of hours of the evening, the app was completely broken on my iPhone. After a few hours the issue miraculously goes away, and does not return until the next time I open Facebook Messenger on my iPad. FYI, using Facebook Messenger on lets say my PC desktop browser at the same time as my work PC browser at the same time as my iOS device is not an issue at all and has never been. This behavior is only happening when iPad is logged in. This is such a strange issue and can't seem to find any information about it, any help is apprecieted! Br, Oskar

iPhone 11 Facebook Messenger not working In the last few days the Facebook messenger app has not been opening. I’ve gone via Facebook and tried to open it that way but still keep closing the app before it’s even opened. I have rebooted my phone, it’s still not opening. I’ve heard there are issues but nothing definite, and don’t know what f it’s confined to iPhone 11 or not? Can someone help. thanks, Mel

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that your iPhone isn't going to sleep when you have Messenger open. Is Messenger the only app this happens with? If so, let's start by force quitting Messenger Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support and then restarting the iPhone Restart your iPhone - Apple Support. Then restarting and testing again.
