Accidentally created a Twitter account by signing in using Apple ID

When I was setting up my new iPhone, when setting up Twitter, I selected Sign In with Apple ID. Unfortunately it created a new Twitter account and I already have an existing account. Twitter cannot close or deactivate the account because I have no idea of the email address or phone number that belongs to the Apple ID sign in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

iPhone 11, 15

Hello tarsha146,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

We understand that when setting up your iPhone and Twitter, you inadvertently created a new Twitter account using the Apple ID. You are trying to close or deactivate the Twitter account, but you don't know the email address or phone number. The email address used to create the Twitter account should be the email associated with the Apple ID you used to set up the new Twitter account.

Check here for information about how to Manage the apps that you use with Sign in with Apple. You can find the steps to stop using Sign in with Apple for a particular app:

Stop using Sign in with Apple with an app
1. On your iPhone, go to Settings, then tap your name.
2. Tap Password & Security > Apps Using Apple ID.
3. Select the app or developer, then tap Stop Using Apple ID.

Best regards.
