Hello there SebastianHodea,

Thanks for participating in the Apple Support Communities.

Since you're seeing your volume is set to the maximum, let's confirm this via Settings to make sure it's accurately set to what you expect. Check out the steps below which can also be found here to confirm that: Change iPhone sounds and vibrations

Set sound and vibration options

1. Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics (on supported models) or Sounds (on other iPhone models).
2. To set the volume for all sounds, drag the slider below Ringers and Alerts.
3. To set the tones and vibration patterns for sounds, tap a sound type, such as ringtone or text tone.
4. Do any of the following:

• Choose a tone (scroll to see them all).

Ringtones play for incoming calls, clock alarms, and the clock timer; text tones are used for text messages, new voicemail, and other alerts.

• Tap Vibration, then choose a vibration pattern, or tap Create New Vibration to create your own.

If you see that the volume slider matches to be at maximum volume, have you compared the audio level with a different device to see if the volume matches? If you're seeing that the volume isn't as loud as it should be, check out the suggestion below which is found here: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker

Check the sound on your device

Go to Settings > Sounds (or Settings > Sounds & Haptics), and drag the Ringer and Alerts slider back and forth a few times. If you don't hear any sound, or if your speaker button on the Ringer and Alerts slider is dimmed, your speaker might need service. Contact Apple Support for iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

We hope that information is able to help.

Have a great day!
