Can you use the touch id on a Macbook Pro and a magic keyboard with touch id? I don't want to keep opening my laptop and purchased the magic keyboard so i could use both the TouchID built into the MacbookPro and the the Magic Keyboard. Any help is appreciated.

I know the keyboard is compatible, what i am asking is if I can use both the TouchID that came integrated with the MacBookPro and the one thatcame on the Magic Keyboard with TouchID. I want to be able to log on via touch with both the laptop and the keyboard TouchIDs. It seems that the only one that will work is the one integrated into the laptop.
