AirPods Pro Static with Zoom on HP Laptop

More of an answer than a question… saw a similar thread from a year ago that won’t allow new comments… I was having this problem today with my new work computer and was able to solve it… sharing in case anyone is still searching for an answer.

In Zoom, get to Settings > Audio… I set my speaker and mic to “Same as System” but I’m not sure that has any impact. The real fix is to go to “Advanced” at the bottom of the Audio Settings and choose “Off (Windows - Raw)” for the “Signal processing by Windows…” option. No more static! Hope this helps!
