Can I purchase Apple+ Care for a refurbished product purchased elsewhere?

Even with a brand new Mac, you can only purchase AppleCare+ within the first 60 days of purchase!
Regardless of how that third party described that Mac, it is a used Mac. Not refurbished.
They may have purchased a refurbished Mac, but then it becomes a used Mac. Purchase an AppleCare plan by following that link.
To purchase a refurbished Mac, shop Apple's Refurbished and Clearance page. All of them are eligible for AppleCare+.
