How to configure my keyboard inputs with Mac?
i have spanish keyboard when i press alt 2 to get at symbol i get the euro symbol instead, can anyone help solve this.

If you have a European Spanish keyboard, the correct input source is called "Spanish ISO" (not "Spanish"), and has @ on Option 2.
If you have Latin American Spanish, the correct input source is "Latin American" and @ in on option Q.

thanks for quick reply john. i changed source to spanish....it was on uk.....tried alt 2 again but still turns up with euro symbol.
Typing the @ symbol is ⇧ 2 not ⌥ 2 on both English (US) and British keyboards
Try opening Keyboard Preferences > Input Sources, and select "Show the Input menu in the menu bar". That way, you can see what you're going to get before you type it.
