MacBook pro 13 inch in cabin baggage

My Macbook Pro of the same model has made many trips in my backpack in the cabin overhead bin. No issues with TSA or the airlines (usually Delta). Those were all US flights, however.

If you are talking about luggage you drop on a cart just before entering the aircraft, those end up in the cargo bays, which get VERY cold.

For info that, or differences in other countries' regulations, you need to confirm policy with your airline, as kaz-k has wisely recommended, or through your country's aviation administration/ministry.
