the ipad doesn't stick to magic keyboard
I just bought a magic keyboard but the ipad doesn't magnetically stick to it. Is there an on switch? what am I doing wrong

Are you sure you own an iPad which is compatible with the Apple Magic Keyboard? Only the following iPad models are compatible:
Compatible with
- iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (3rd, 4th, and 5th generation)
- iPad Pro 11‑inch (1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation)
- iPad Air (4th and 5th generation)
If you don't own one of these iPad models, you should either return the Magic Keyboard or purchase an iPad which is compatible.
