Upgrading a MacBook Air A1932 model-memory

Can the memory be upgraded from 8mb to 16 on this model by replacing the logic board with more memory? If not, why not?

The A1932 refers to a MacBook Air from 2018 or 2019. The Ram is soldered to the logic board so cannot be upgraded.

Yes, you can replace the entire logic board with one that has 16GB, and painstakingly reconnect all exterior ports and cables, but then that's basically just getting an entirely new MacBook Air. Your better off just buying one with the amount of RAM you want.

The Logic board is the entirety of the internal hardware of the Mac.
