I can’t open my IPad using fingerprint ID
How do I open my IPad after trying several times and after my last try told Security Lovkout.

Did it not prompt you to enter the device’s passcode?
Perhaps a forced power-off reset will either bring back the sensor or allow you to enter the passcode:
