Is there a way to turn autocorrect off in macOS Monterey? I've tried turning off "Correct Spelling Automatically" (I still want spelling errors to be detected, just not corrected). Still it "corrected" accept to except in a business communication. That doesn't make me look professional. Thank you

What app are you using? I'm not seeing accept changed to except, even with spell checking on.
That is the problem, I was never given suggestions.
