Notes on Macbook

I downloaded grammarly and used it for a couple days but didn't like it for notes. I proceded to uninstall it by dragging the application to the trash. After it was uninstalled, my notes do not auto correct or auto capitalize or anyting. I have the setting checked under edit to correct spelling automatically. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi there PilotNate83,

If autocorrection is not working as expected, follow the steps here first:

1. On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Keyboard , then click Text.
2. Select the “Correct spelling automatically” checkbox.

These steps and more are found in this article: Check spelling and grammar on Mac

If this settings is already checked in your System Preferences, are you able to check spelling or grammar manually using the ‘Check spelling and grammar’ section of that article?

Let’s ensure your Mac is fully updated as well.
