Hi I have a 2020 MacBook Air that I have forgotten the password on. I can’t change it via Apple ID either as I can’t connect it to the internet.
any ideas on how to either join a Wi-Fi or reset the login password without Wi-Fi??

You change your local login password via System Preferences > User & Groups > Change Password.
